Living in Copper Ridge

Planted solidly within the coveted landscape of the Texas Hill Country, Copper Ridge boasts a sought-after location only five miles west of the historic community of New Braunfels, TX. This once-tiny Texas town (a favorite getaway spot for many across Texas) still boasts its original homespun charm, but has also recently added the newfound perks of blossoming growth. Recently ranked one of the fastest-growing communities in the nation, New Braunfels has attracted many new locals searching for a tight-knit community, rich culture, a slower pace of life, and (of course) that classic “small-town” feel. 

Home to a rich sense of German heritage, plenty of live music, heralded festivals, and sparkling lakes and rivers, New Braunfels remains one of the most unique Hill Country towns on the map.

However, while Copper Ridge residents enjoy easy access to their favorite Hill Country town, they also have the luxury of resting easy within the well-marked boundaries of the neighborhood’s 24-hour gated and guarded entrance...meaning even when you’re out and about, “peace of mind” is always on the horizon of homecoming.

One of the newer additions to the New Braunfels housing market, the Copper Ridge community dates back to 2012 and continues to offer brand-new custom-built homes. Entertainment and Recreation

A beautiful home is a thing to be admired, certainly. But what is a luxury Hill Country community without its resort-style amenities? Copper Ridge residents can rest easy knowing they never have to discover the answer. Boasting an active, resort-style community center with a community pool complex (complete with both lap and play pool), fitness center, on-site tennis and basketball courts, and a “Texas-style pavilion” (with a dramatic stone fireplace, grill setup, and plenty of picnic tables), homeowners and their families have plenty of opportunities to gather and play with friends and family. 

Outside the dedicated amenity center, a private homeowners' park and scenic walking trails also provide the opportunity to explore the surrounding Texas Hill Country. Or, if you love the Hill Country feel but also feel inclined to add in the bonus of private Guadalupe River access, I would recommend considering a home in River Chase and Riverforest. 

Copper Ridge Schools

Parents in Copper Ridge can rest assured: their young minds are being shaped by one of the best school districts in the San Antonio metro area. New Braunfels ISD boasts academic excellence and incredible teachers, as well as the “small-town Texas football” vibes everyone in Texas loves (Go Unicorns!). Specifically, Copper Ridge students are usually zoned to attend Veramendi Elementary, Oak Run Middle School, and New Braunfels High School.
