Lake Placid Texas Waterfront

Lake Placid is constant level lake located in-between Lake Dunlap and Lake McQueeney.  This lake is VERY similar to those 2 lakes. This lake is 2 miles shorter than Lake Dunlap (it is about 5 miles long) and has a surface area of 248 acres.  If you look at the specs on Lake Placid versus Lake Dunlap or Lake McQueeney you might think this lake is much smaller, however a higher percentage of Lake Placid is navigable so the lake feels very similar in size to it big brothers. Lake Placid residence love the fact that they are "off the radar" as compared to other larger Texas lakes such as Lake LBJ and Lake Travis.
